In this blog, I will tell you how to install the barrel in Kaayee's Retro Train Book Nook Kit, which is also one of the most difficult steps during the assembly.
First, insert J12 into the corresponding slots on N21 in order. Combine N6 and N7, then insert them into the center slot of N21. Finally, install N24. Carefully align the J21 plug so it fits into the longer slot on N24. Note that J12 connects to N21 and N24 at a slight angle. Insert J12 into the corresponding slots on N16. Assemble N8, N9, and N4. Place the assembled part into the center hole of N25. Then use N5 to secure it in place. Finally, insert the other end of J12 into the longer slot of N25. Insert both ends of M3 into the shorter slots of N21 and N25. Pay attention to the correct orientation of M3.
